Bianco Carrara quartz brings the soft white base and grey veining of Italy’s most famous marble into a surface built for a working kitchen. It’s cut, polished and fitted in our own London workshop, backed by a 25-year material warranty, and typically installed within 5–7 days of your final template.
Bianco Carrara quartz earns its place in busy British kitchens because it simply gets on with the job. The surface is non-porous, so it won’t absorb spills, harbour bacteria, or need resealing, a genuine advantage over natural stone worktops for food prep areas. It resists scratches from everyday knife slips and stands up to stains from coffee, wine and cooking oils far better than marble or limestone.
Because every slab is manufactured to the same specification, you can run the same veining across a large kitchen island, matching upstands and splashback without the natural colour drift you’d get with quarried stone. It suits kitchen worktops, islands and breakfast bars just as well as bathroom vanity tops, where a consistent, easy-clean surface matters just as much.
Day to day, a damp cloth and a squirt of washing-up liquid is all Bianco Carrara quartz needs, there’s no sealing, oiling or resealing required, ever. For anything stubborn, a soft cloth with a little warm water usually does the trick within a minute or two.
A couple of things to avoid: bleach and harsh chemical cleaners can dull the resin over time, and abrasive scourers can leave fine scratches on the polished finish. It’s also worth using a trivet or heat mat under hot pans, quartz handles everyday heat well, but no engineered stone likes direct contact with a pan straight off the hob.
