Our latest bespoke kitchen worktop project includes a fabulous set of Calacatta Oro, marble-effect quartz countertops that showcase the ageless beauty of this desired designer stone. Calacatta Oro is one of the desired stones in luxury kitchens, with a warm, golden colour, flowing caramel veining over a brilliant white background.
Rather than a standard finish, our craftsmen worked closely with the natural character of the Calacatta Oro to create a bespoke edge profile that honours the stone’s rich golden veining right to the surface edge, transforming a functional worktop into a true focal point of the kitchen.
20mm Calacatta Viola Polished Marble
Calacatta Oro is among the finest grades of Italian marble available. Its distinctive combination of warm gold, honey, and soft grey veining against a crisp white base makes it a prized choice for luxury homeowners and discerning clients who want a kitchen that is genuinely unlike any other. When light falls across the surface, the golden tones shift and deepen, lending an opulent, sun-warmed richness to the entire space.
For this project, KML Worktops applied a bespoke finish along the face of the stone, a carefully considered edge treatment that draws the eye naturally to the veining and elevates the visual impact of the worktop well beyond what a standard polished finish could achieve.
