Arabescato Corchia is one of the most distinctly characterful marbles in the world. Quarried from the Corchia mountain deep in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany — above the town of Levigliani — it is a classic white Italian marble defined by its remarkable veining: dense, elliptical formations of dark grey and blue-grey that web across the surface like the brushstrokes of a master artist. It is far busier and more dramatic than Calacatta or Carrara marble, with a visual intensity that demands attention.
Arabescato Corchia Symphony Quartz captures this extraordinary stone’s character in engineered quartz form — delivering its expressive, web-like veining across a pristine white background with none of the porosity, etching risk or maintenance demands of the natural marble original.
The word ‘Arabescato’ describes the arabesque quality of the stone’s veining — complex, repeating, interlocking patterns reminiscent of Islamic geometric art. In Arabescato Corchia specifically, this takes the form of characteristic elliptical ‘boulder’ shapes and grey-to-blue-grey veins interlaced across a white-to-cream background. The finest blocks have minimal yellowing in their white centres, which this engineered quartz version maintains — preserving the pure white integrity of the background.
Arabescato Corchia Symphony presents a crisp white base overlaid with a rich, dense network of dark grey and blue-grey veins — bold, expressive and far more complex in pattern than standard marble-effect quartz. The surface has genuine visual depth and character that ensures it remains a point of conversation and admiration in any space.
