Location: London Material: Taj Mahal Quartzite, 20mm Project: Kitchen Worktop Installation
There’s something about Taj Mahal Quartzite that makes it hard to walk past without stopping for a second look. The soft ivory background, the gentle sweeping veins in warm gold and taupe, it reads like marble at first glance, but comes with a toughness that marble simply can’t match. That’s exactly why this client chose it, and honestly, we couldn’t agree more with the decision.
The edges were finished to a clean honed profile, keeping things understated and letting the stone do the talking. Cut-outs for the hob and sink were templated precisely on-site before fabrication, so everything lined up exactly as it should on the day of installation.
Taj Mahal, Quartzite
Taj Mahal Quartzite originates from Brazil and is one of the most sought-after natural stones in high-end kitchen design right now. Its warm ivory base is crossed with flowing veins in shades of gold, soft grey, and taupe, no two slabs are ever quite the same.
The decision to go with Taj Mahal came after the client visited our showroom and spent time with several samples side by side. Once they saw it next to their door samples, there was no real competition. The warmth it brought to the scheme was something the cooler stones in the shortlist just couldn’t replicate.
